- I am a self-taught artist with a passion for painting and photography. I have been painting as a hobby for many years and love using various media including oil, acrylic, watercolor and oil pastels. Mostly I take photos of scenes that catch my eyes and transform them into a painting. California's colorful landscapes from the water’s edge to mountaintops are a constant source of my artistic inspiration. I love using vivid colors and texture in my landscapes and florals to express the beauty of the scene I am painting.
