Turquoise vase and cottage roses - Acrylic painting

Another flower painting from my garden. I cut some sweet peas and cottage roses from the garden this week. I wanted to paint the cottage roses before it withered away.

Here is my setup..

Here is the finished painting, 12 X 12 canvas with acrylic done mainly with palette knife.

Delphiniums and Foxgloves - Plein air painting

Hello, Sorry I have been MIA from the blog. I have been painting and sharing updates on Facebook page whenever I can, but keeping up with all of my social media is becoming a chore these days :).

Here is a plein air painting done from my backyard couple of weeks ago. Delphiniums and Foxgloves were in full bloom and I couldn't resist painting them. Done on a 12 X 12 canvas with acrylic.

And here is my set up from the garden.

Weekly Painting #10 - Blue Bucket Ranunculus

By now, you all might have gathered that I love Thursdays, Ferry building Farmers market and Thomas Farms :). I stopped there last Thursday again. I have so many photos of different flower bunches every season in those blue buckets. I love looking at them. Here is a painting of blue bucket ranunculus.

I even picked up a small bunch for home. It is now sitting in my kitchen and taunting me to paint them.
